
Kevin A. Olson
Kevin Olson is a highly respected, trusted and award-winning communications professional. He is the founder and CEO of SnowGlobe, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business.
Kevin served 31 years in the U.S. Army, and his last position was a 14-year stretch as the Director of Communications for the Minnesota Army and Air National Guard, based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Holding the rank of Colonel, he was the primary spokesman for the Minnesota National Guard, and was the strategic communication advisor to The Adjutant General, a state cabinet member.
He was responsible for coordinating and executing all media, community relations, command information, social media and crisis communication for a 13,000-person organization operating in 61 communities throughout Minnesota.
Prior to serving in an active duty status with the National Guard, Kevin worked twelve years for Marriott Lodging in convention operations and sales, where he was a “Certified Meeting Planner” (a designation held by less than 5% in the meeting planning industry) and earned the “Chairman’s Circle Award” for sales performance.
In addition to his military occupation, Kevin has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Concordia University St. Paul Masters of Strategic Communication Management program, and has instructed graduate-level media strategy and crisis communication programs. Kevin was the 2017 commencement speaker for Concordia University’s masters and doctoral programs.
Kevin is a Policy Fellow with the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and holds master’s degree in organizational leadership management from Concordia University in St. Paul. He is also a graduate of the Department of Defense’s Senior Joint Public Affairs Officer Course, and is a member of the Minnesota Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion and is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Minnesota.
Additionally, he is a board member of the Friends of the St. Paul Library and World Encounter, a non-profit dedicated to providing micro-loans to women in Tanzania. Kevin served as an advisory board member on the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee for more than two years.

Anna Lewicki Long
Anna Lewicki Long, APR, is an award-winning professional communicator and U.S. military veteran who is passionate about planning and action. She has a unique background in government, retail and the entertainment industries, with experience in public affairs, crisis communication, event management, government affairs, digital and social campaign management, strategic planning and media relations.
Before becoming a partner with SnowGlobe, Anna served for more than a decade as the communications director for the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, a cabinet level state agency. In that role she oversaw the agency’s statewide public relations, marketing, advertising and communications initiatives. She previously worked at Mall of America in the corporate PR department and has a background in print journalism. She still currently serves as a public affairs officer in the Minnesota Air National Guard and has participated in several military operations around the world, including Croatia, Bosnia, Norway, Central America and Germany. After 9/11 Anna spent six months as chief of media relations for First Air Force under NORAD during Operation Noble Eagle. She also represented the United States at the European Military Press Association Conference in Split, Croatia.
Anna is a Policy Fellow with the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and holds master’s degree in strategic communication management from Concordia University. She is also a graduate of the Department of Defense’s Public Affairs Enlisted and Officer Training programs, and is proud to be a past president of the Minnesota Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Minnesota Chapter.
